'Food Alley' development to bring 17 restaurants to SLC in 2019

The 48,000-square foot Food Alley is scheduled to open in early 2019 at the corner of State Street and 800 South, according to an emailed statement from Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski’s office on Wednesday.

"(KUTV) - The Salt Lake City Department of Economic Development and Sapa Investment Group are developing the first Food Alley in Utah's Capital City that is scheduled to open in early 2019.

The 48,000-square-feet commercial property is planned for 800 South and State Street to house 17 restaurants on the ground level and space to house businesses from refugee entrepreneurs.
